Finance Manager

Our client, a high-growth, Series B, VC-backed, AI company, is seeking a Finance Manager to help scale its finance function.

Location: San Francisco, CA. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday. 10-12 hour days are common.

Job Description: This position is critical to providing essential finance capacity and operational insight. This is a high-impact role supporting financial modeling, cost tracking, strategic planning, vendor management, and ad hoc projects across the organization.

• Maintain multi-year financial projections in a 3-statement format.
• Build and manage the operating plan and financial forecast.
• Track infrastructure spend, vendor contracts, and cost allocations.
• Support FP&A across teams and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Prepare investor reports and lead ad hoc finance projects.

• 5–10 years of finance experience, ideally in tech or high-growth environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA is a plus.
• Strong 3-statement financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Experience with cost allocation, vendor management, and contract tracking.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close collaboration.

Compensation: $125,000- $175,000 base + discretionary bonus and generous equity. The company also has several benefits, including a free gym membership, food stipend, and housing stipend if located within one-half mile of the office.
