Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Our client, a leading SaaS analytics company, is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting to join their dynamic finance team.

This position is hybrid, with flexibility for candidates located near the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role offers the opportunity to lead revenue operations, ensure compliance with ASC 606, and partner across departments to support scalability.

• Manage revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Review non‑standard contracts to ensure accurate and compliant revenue structuring.
• Oversee monthly revenue close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and forecasting.
• Research guidance and draft technical accounting memos documenting revenue conclusions.
• Identify and implement scalable processes to enhance revenue workflows and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Finance, Sales Ops, Legal) to evaluate operational impacts and risks.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure revenue controls meet SOX requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue recognition within SaaS or technology companies.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
• Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
• Expertise in quote‑to‑cash processes and strong communication skills.
