Senior Associate OR Manager, M&A and Financial Due‑Diligence (31435)
Our client, a boutique advisory firm that provides specialized financial and accounting due diligence services related to mergers and acquisitions, is looking for a new team member. The firm performs due diligence and accounting, data analysis, and balance‑sheet investigations for clients including private equity funds, private investors, lenders, and corporate clients. With almost 20 years of growth, they work on deals larger and more complex than typical boutique firms of their size.
Responsibilities- Analyze and review target company financial statements and assess earnings/EBITDA validity, cash flows, financial position, and overall financial soundness.
- Manage day‑to‑day communication with senior internal team members, acquisition targets, and clients.
- Routinely work with Excel to create often complex and sophisticated deliverables.
- Work on multiple deals simultaneously; multitask and jump into new challenges.
- Exhibit strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- Synthesize data effectively and tell the story in the numbers.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations of findings for clients.
- Finance, Accounting, or Economics degree.
- 2‑4+ years of professional experience in a related field.
- Strong foundation in financial and quantitative analysis.
- Strong strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Dynamic, highly motivated person who works well as a team member, builds relationships easily, and can work independently.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing, customer‑service‑oriented environment.
- Produces deliverables that are accurate and timely.
- Very strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP.
- Knowledge of transaction services/M&A due diligence, audit, and/or consulting.
- Great command of the Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Excel (ability to learn and use advanced functions is a must).
