Finance Analyst (Contract)

Systems Accountants is seeking a Finance Analyst for a 3 to 6-month contract to provide essential backfill support for day-to-day finance operations. This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level professional who can maintain business-as-usual tasks during a period of system transition.

• Support day-to-day finance and accounting tasks to ensure continuity of departmental operations.
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Utilize One Stream from a user perspective to input data, run reports, and verify financial information.
• Support the broader finance team with data entry and basic financial analysis as required.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit trails and compliance.

• Prior experience working within a corporate finance or accounting function.
• Functional knowledge of One Stream from an end-user perspective is required.
• Previous experience with Cognos is considered a strong plus.
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
