Liquidity is seeking a Senior Director to play a key leadership role in the USA market. You will manage commercial opportunities from inception through to final execution as part of a global team, with a particular focus on the USA market. In this client‑facing role, you will originate new business opportunities, manage and strengthen client relationships, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery.
Responsibilities- Sourcing prospective clients (companies) and generating deal flow
- Performing initial vetting (inc. calls/meetings with C‑suite) of prospective clients
- Liaising between prospective clients and the investment team to ensure smooth and effective due diligence and execution
- Upkeep full notation of the business cycle progress on CRM
- Handling negotiations with prospective clients, together with the investment management team
- 10‑15 years experience at a top‑tier financial institution: venture capital, private equity, commercial bank, debt/credit provider
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a client‑facing role: sales, origination, relationship management
- Demonstrable ability to originate and close transactions
- Drive, ambition, and an ability to perform in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment
- At least two years of previous experience as a financial analyst
- Experience in and understanding of the growth‑stage tech landscape
- Experience in and understanding of deal flow activity in credit/debt funds – an advantage
