Head of Finance / CFO
We’re looking for a Head of Finance / CFO to join our client who are building a merchant structured credit platform in the Web3 space. The business founded 2 years ago is currently 15 in size and has secured over $15 million in funding so far. It is headquartered in San Francisco and is looking for its first finance hire to shape the business.
They have two paths over the next 12‑24 months: gear up for a huge Series B or, given their huge success already, potential to be acquired.

Responsibilities- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
- Build robust, multi‑scenario financial models bridging Web2, Web3, and real‑world financial constraints
- Own core financial processes across legal entities
- Oversee audits across both fiat and digital asset flows
- Manage fiat and stablecoin treasuries, including risk management, allocation, and credit structuring
- Design frameworks for token treasury management, disbursements and DeFi‑native capital optimization
The role is paying a salary between $250,000 - $350,000 base salary (maybe slightly more for an outstanding candidate), plus significant share and token options. They are looking for someone ideally in the Bay Area, but would consider exceptional candidates on a fully remote basis in the US who would travel to the Bay Area monthly or bi‑monthly.
