Job Description & How to Apply Below

Overview

We’re hiring a Loan Servicing Manager to own and scale Atmos’ loan servicing function as origination volume grows across multiple lending partners and products. This role will own our loan servicing platform and is expected to materially influence product, underwriting, and lender confidence. The position is central to ensuring servicing operations are accurate, compliant, and borrower‑friendly while working closely with lending partners and underwriting teams to improve loan decisioning, reduce friction, and inform credit policy and product design.

The manager will be responsible for the vendor relationship with Loan Pro and the end‑to‑end integration, turning loan servicing from a reactive cost center into a proactive, value‑added capability for borrowers, lenders, and internal teams. The role is hands‑on, systems‑oriented, and requires collaboration across Operations, Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and external lenders.

What You’ll Do Lead & Scale Servicing Operations
  • Own loan servicing operations across the full loan lifecycle, from funding through payoff
  • Oversee payment processing, statements, escrow (where applicable), payoffs, refunds, and borrower account maintenance
  • Ensure a consistent, high‑quality borrower experience with strong operational controls
Work Closely with Lenders & Underwriting
  • Serve as a primary operational contact for lending partners on servicing‑related needs
  • Ensure lenders have the reporting, data, and operational support required for portfolio management, audits, and exams
  • Partner with underwriting and risk teams to surface servicing‑driven insights—such as payment behavior, exceptions, disputes, and edge cases—to improve decisioning logic and credit policies
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure servicing activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop, document, and maintain servicing policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support audits, examinations, and internal reviews related to servicing operations
Build Better Systems
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve servicing automation, tooling, workflows, and integrations
  • Translate servicing realities into clear product and underwriting requirements
  • Track servicing KPIs and implement continuous operational improvements
Team Leadership & Expertise
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for complex servicing issues and borrower escalations
  • Mentor and support servicing team members as volume and complexity scale
Who You Are

You’re a detail‑oriented operator who understands that servicing quality directly impacts portfolio performance, lender confidence, and borrower trust. You’re comfortable working across teams, translating operational issues into system improvements, and taking ownership in a regulated, high‑growth environment.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in loan servicing, lending operations, or related financial services roles
  • Strong understanding of consumer loan life cycles and servicing best practices
  • Familiarity with lending and servicing regulatory requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in a startup or high‑growth fintech environment
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Experience working directly with banks, credit unions, or other lending partners
  • Exposure to underwriting, credit risk, or loan decisioning workflows
  • Fintech or startup experience
  • Experience drafting policies, procedures, and supporting audits or regulatory exams
  • Background in finance, business, economics, or a related field
Salary & Compensation

$95,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

Benefits
  • Equity
  • Health Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Learning & Development budget
Why Join Atmos
  • High‑impact role with ownership over a core operational function
  • Opportunity to help households lower energy costs and improve energy reliability
  • Direct exposure to lenders, underwriting, and product development
  • Flexible work arrangements (in‑office, hybrid, or fully remote)
  • Collaborative, execution‑focused, and technology‑forward culture
