Corporate Finance Manager - M&A and Corporate Development

Our client, a mid‑size biotechnology company focused on oncology, is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join their growing corporate finance team.

Location: Alameda, CA. This role is on‑site, with flexible hours.

Job Description: The role offers exposure to strategic initiatives, including M&A, corporate development, and lifecycle management.

• Lead valuation and accretion/dilution analysis for potential transactions
• Prepare and present deal summaries to senior leadership
• Evaluate in‑licensing opportunities and recommend deal terms
• Conduct sensitivity analysis on deal economics

• Build financial models to support investment/divestment decisions
• Perform project‑level valuation and scenario analysis
• Prepare pro forma P&L and DCF analysis for pipeline compounds

• Develop standardized financial models and scenario planning tools
• Track and analyze biotech industry peers and market trends
• Maintain WACC calculations and competitive intelligence reports

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking or management consulting
• Advanced financial modeling skills (DCF, accretion/dilution, scenario analysis)
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
