We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Revenue Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is essential to our daily financial operations, owning key aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, and the order‑to‑cash cycle. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable with high‑volume transactional data, and capable of maintaining accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.

You will partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, and the broader Finance team to ensure accurate billing, timely vendor payments, and a smooth month‑end close. You’ll be a key contributor to our Revenue team’s operational efficiency, audit readiness, and reporting integrity.

1. Revenue Recognition & Month‑End Close

• Revenue Execution: Manage Net Suite revenue plans, post system-generated journals, and execute revenue recognition for key product lines and subsidiaries.
• Adjustments & Professional Services: Book professional services revenue, manage implementation journals/amortization and perform specific revenue corrections for Athelas subsidiaries.

2. Billing Operations & Invoicing

• Invoicing: Execute monthly Net Suite billing operations, including generating invoices/credit memos and managing billable date roll‑forwards and EOM dating.
• Specialized Billing: Calculate and import invoices for implementation fees and usage‑based overages for enterprise clients.
• Credits & Outages: Process credit requests from ReTool and calculate/upload outage adjustments into Net Suite.

3. Data Integrity & Reconciliations

• System Reconciliation: Reconcile Customer POs, Salesforce data, and Net Suite monthly to ensure completeness.
• Validation: Review "Invoice Compare" files (Net Suite vs. Salesforce) for high‑volume products (Live/Assist, Go/Assist) to resolve discrepancies.
• Deferred Revenue: Reconcile deferred revenue master sheets (Strongline, Memora) to Net Suite balances.

4. Technical Accounting & Analysis

• Analysis & Review: Partner with Legal to review new contracts for revenue implications and conduct monthly flux analysis to explain variances.
• Reserves: Calculate and record sales return reserves for Athelas RCM, Athelas Scribe, and Commure Scribe.

• 1‑3 years of revenue accounting experience, with exposure to month‑end close procedures and AR cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Net Suite and Salesforce is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with operational platforms such as retool, netsuite billing is a strong plus.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and comfort managing large datasets.
