Position: Premium Experience & Operations Assistant

About the Team

The Giants’ Experience Development team oversees key aspects of the guest experience at Oracle Park and is dedicated to bringing the many departments and vendors that guests interact with along their journeys at Oracle Park together to elevate the guest experience. The team directly manages Oracle Park’s concessions partner, Guest Services team, Premium Concierge team and transportation systems, as well as the operation of the public realm and park space in the Mission Rock development (across McCovey Cove from Oracle Park) and the guest experience at the Giants’ Spring Training facility in Scottsdale, AZ.

The department was created in 2024 with the aim of bringing together key internal teams with significant influence on the Oracle Park experience that have traditionally operated in silos.

About the Role

The San Francisco Giants are looking for a part-time Premium Experience & Operations Assistant to support the delivery of an exceptional experience for our premium guests at Oracle Park. This role plays a key part in the operational execution of premium spaces on event days, ensuring clubs, suites, and exclusive hospitality areas are properly set, staffed, and supported throughout each game day and event.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because…
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty for assigned premium venues, addressing operational issues in real time and escalating as appropriate.
  • Support onboarding, training reinforcement, and real-time coaching of Premium Concierge staff to ensure service and operational standards are consistently upheld.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of premium areas, including inventory management, vendor coordination, and budget tracking.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to premium clientele, anticipating needs and creating memorable “wow” moments.
  • Support the planning, execution, and breakdown of suite-level and premium clubs, including kids’ activities, client events, concerts, and special rentals, on game days and during events.
  • Communicate standard operating procedures, food and beverage offerings, and upcoming events to Premium Concierge staff and cross-functional partners.
  • Contribute ideas and support execution of premium experiences, including creative concepts, theme activations, and vendor partnerships.
  • Manage staffing schedules and day-of coordination for the Premium Concierge team.
  • Monitor operational details, including inventory levels and functionality of LED boards, sound systems, and televisions. Report any issues and follow through on resolution.
  • Document operational issues, guest feedback, and observations to support post-event recaps and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist in evaluating new ideas, partnerships, and experiences to enhance the Giants brand and premium offerings.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate experience in customer service.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with proven ability to manage complex situations.
  • Computer skills:
    Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, & design software/ programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive and to think clearly as well as troubleshoot amid a high-stress environment.
  • Dedicated work ethic and works well in a team setting.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours on weekdays, weeknights and weekends according to the Giants home schedule.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35lbs.
  • Must be available for AT LEAST 80% of all Giants home games.

Compensation: $27 per hour.
