Responsibilities
- Develop inspections & tests to verify product quality
- Train QA teams on inspection implementation
- Partner with R&D & Mfg. teams to resolve issues & implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to all quality standards
- Assess & supervise supplier performance
- Partner on continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with R&D engineering to review project docs
- Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS
- Conduct internal audits
- Support the identification & mitigation of product & process risks
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations & standards
- Support regulatory submissions & provide audit documentation as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar
- 4+ years of quality engineering experience within the med device industry
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant quality reqs
- Experience with risk management processes & techniques
- Extreme attention to detail – committed to delivering high-quality results
