The Company / OpportunityWe’re partnering with a high-growth, AI-driven digital health company transforming how patients access healthcare. With exceptional traction, real-world impact, and category-defining momentum, they’re now hiring an Engineering Manager to help scale both their engineering team and core platform.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, managing a team of 5–8 engineers while remaining close to the code (~20% IC / 80% people leadership).
The Engineering Manager will:- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5–8 engineers, providing regular, actionable feedback
- Stay hands‑on with system design, coding, and shipping core product features (~20% IC time)
- Define and execute the technical strategy across a core product portfolio
- Own team‑level OKRs, delivery scope, and cross‑team dependencies
- Establish and uphold engineering best practices (architecture reviews, CI/CD, observability)
- Partner closely with founders and senior leadership on key technical decisions
- Python
- Modern cloud infrastructure and scalable distributed systems (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong emphasis on reliability, security, and compliance (HIPAA)
- 1–8 years of engineering management experience
- Comfortable balancing people leadership with hands‑on technical contribution
- Experience in startup or high‑growth environments
- Proven ability to scale teams, processes, and technical systems
- Mission‑driven mindset with an interest in healthcare and real‑world impact
