Manufacturing Engineer

We’re a YC-backed aerospace startup developing long-endurance airborne systems operating in demanding environments. We’re scaling production rapidly and are building out our manufacturing capability to support growing deployment of complex hardware platforms.

• Develop manufacturing tooling, assembly processes, and test fixtures for vehicle and avionics hardware
• Work closely with design engineers to improve designs for manufacturability and production readiness
• Create and maintain assembly procedures, documentation, and production test plans
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot flight hardware when required
• Support rapid production scale-up in a fast-paced hardware startup environment

• Strong ability to troubleshoot electronic systems
• Hands-on experience with soldering, electronics assembly, and hardware testing
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. OpenHTF, Pytest)
• Comfortable owning manufacturing processes with a high level of autonomy

• Experience with supply chain management or PCBA contract manufacturing
• Experience working with lightweight or advanced materials
• Startup experience or comfort working in small, independent teams
• Background in aerospace, avionics, or complex hardware systems
