Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to support testing, validation, and manufacturing of electro-mechanical and optical products in both R&D and production environments. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills, including soldering rework and basic PCB testing, to support rapid development and manufacturing readiness.

• Perform mechanical, optical, and electronic testing for product validation and quality
• Conduct soldering and rework on electronic assemblies and PCBs
• Perform basic PCB board testing, including continuity checks and functional verification
• Support cleanroom assembly of precision electro-mechanical systems
• Evaluate component and assembly manufacturability throughout the NPD lifecycle
• Operate and troubleshoot test equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards
• Perform optical alignment using multi-axis robotic or precision assembly systems
• Support DOE, special builds, and PFMEA activities with cross-functional engineering teams

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical testing, manufacturing, or product development
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical, optical, and electronic assemblies
• Demonstrated experience with soldering, rework, and basic PCB testing
• Familiarity with cleanroom manufacturing and test environments
• Experience supporting both R&D and volume production builds
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
