We are seeking a Director of Sales - Semiconductor (Individual Contributor) to drive net-new business and revenue growth across the semiconductor ecosystem. This is a true hunting role, focused on selling VLSI, ASIC, and IC design services to semiconductor companies, IDMs, fabless firms, and system companies. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience selling VLSI or ASIC services, understands the semiconductor design lifecycle, and is comfortable engaging deeply with engineering, design, and procurement stakeholders.

This role reports directly to the VP & Head of Sales – Semiconductors.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities within the semiconductor ecosystem
  • Drive sales of VLSI, ASIC, and IC design services, including turnkey engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, design, and procurement teams at customer organizations
  • Lead customer pursuits from opportunity identification through proposal development, pricing, and contract closure
  • Coordinate with global delivery, pre-sales, and leadership teams to shape differentiated solutions
  • Deliver consistent revenue growth aligned with semiconductor sector targets
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • VLSI background required
    , with strong understanding of semiconductor design and development workflows
  • Proven experience working in and selling to the semiconductor industry, specifically:
  • Semiconductor / ASIC services companies or
  • EDA or IP companies selling design-centric solutions
  • Demonstrated success selling VLSI or ASIC services to semiconductor companies
  • 8-20 years of sales experience
    , with a strong track record in semiconductor or engineering services sales
  • Comfortable engaging directly with design engineers, architects, and technical decision-makers
  • Experience selling complex, solution-based engineering services (not hardware or tools alone)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Residency required in:
  • California (preferably Bay Area) or
  • Texas (preferably Dallas or Austin)
  • Willingness to travel across the U.S. as needed
