Architecting, constructing, operating and innovating the telecommunications and structured cabling infrastructure within our data centers is fundamental to ensuring high availability, the capacity to meet our extreme growth demands and obtaining the most robust and cost effective online service in the world!
The Supply Chain Lead will spearhead our strategy and management framework as we continue to partner with our supply chain of Designers, Engineers, General Contractors, Telecom Partners and Integrators.
Required Skills Responsibilities
Drive Strategic Partner Engagement and Prioritization:
Lead our strategic supplier engagement framework, focusing on proactive, high-level interaction with key partners to strengthen accountability, drive strategic growth, and ensure Meta remains top of mindManage Capacity and Effective Scaling:
Manage the supplier capacity assessment and manage the supplier on-boarding program to ensure the supply chain can effectively scale up with our program’s demandsOptimize Partner Allocation and Planning:
Develop and maintain the objective, data-driven partner allocation program to ensure the right partners are matched with the right projectsLead Scenario Analysis and
Risk Management:
Conduct and lead detailed scenario analysis for supply chain optionality, providing data-driven insights to manage risk and inform capex and schedule commitmentsAnalyze Supplier Ecosystem:
Understand and analyze Suppliers’ business strategies, capabilities, and growth areas to inform long-term partnerships and scaling decisionsFacilitate Strategic Reviews:
Facilitate and Chair Supplier Strategic Business Reviews and touchpoints, often involving leadership and supplier C-suite leadersContribute to Thought Leadership:
Contribute to the organization’s thought leadership by developing new supply chain strategies and conceptsMinimum Qualifications
12+ years of progressive experience in engineering or construction roles, with a focus on program, commercial, or strategic supply chain managementBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another relevant area. An effective leader working as an individual contributor with a proven experience to influence without direct authority and drive outcomes across a complex stakeholder environmentDemonstrated proficiency in strategic communication and negotiation skills, with experience developing and executing strategic communication plans to support high-level partner engagement and executive reviewsProficient in understanding construction means and methods, project sequencing, critical path schedules, and cost estimating for large capital projectsDemonstrate proficiency in communications skills and with experience developing strategic communication plans over short and long termProficient in understanding of construction means and methods, project sequencing, critical path schedules and cost estimatingSolid knowledge of conceptual budgeting and cost estimating as well as scheduling toolsWorking knowledge of standards and codesProficient in Excel, Power Point, Word, and other tools required to plan and communicate work productsMission critical, Infrastructure, and/or Data Center Construction experiencePreferred Qualifications
Masters or License in Engineering Discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Construction Management15+ years of experience including office and field, demonstrating industry expertise critical for effective scalingAdvanced Experience or Certification in Project Management, Leadership, Logistics, or CommunicationsBroad range of work experience from different facets of the supply chain (Owner, General Contractor, Trade Contractor, Supplier, Vendor, Consultant), providing a holistic view to inform both scaling and allocation strategiesProven experience collaborating with leadership and C-suite executives in partner organizations, enhancing the…
