Job Description:

You will be responsible for the thorough testing, verification, and optimization of building systems, ensuring they function as designed.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Testing:
  Conduct thorough testing and verification of various building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation, to ensure they meet design specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation:
  Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation, reports, and test procedures to track system performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and owners to align commissioning activities with project goals and timelines.
• Problem Solving:
  Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, developing innovative solutions to address challenges and ensure optimal functionality.
• Energy Efficiency:
  Identify opportunities for energy savings and sustainability enhancements in building operations, making recommendations for improvements.
• Client Interaction:
  Communicate effectively with clients, presenting commissioning findings and providing training to end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the operational phase.
• Quality Assurance:
  Maintain the highest standards of quality and precision throughout the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems meet or exceed industry standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Related industry and/or commissioning experience required
• Basic knowledge of the design, construction and commissioning processes
• Awareness of local energy codes and LEED Cx requirements
• Field experience strongly preferred
• Complex project experience (Mission Critical, Healthcare, Laboratory, Etc.) preferred
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, excel)
