We’re working with a unicorn robotics company and they’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join a fast‑moving team building some of the most advanced robots in the world.
What they’re looking for:- A sharp, fast‑thinking electrical engineer who enjoys solving complex motion‑control problems
- Someone naturally curious about how systems work and excited to build hardware from the ground up
- Solid experience designing motor‑control electronics end‑to‑end — from schematics and layout to prototyping and validation
- Strong understanding of power stages, switching devices, and precision sensing needed for advanced control algorithms
- Skilled in high‑frequency layout, noise mitigation, and thermal considerations for compact power systems
- Thrives in hands‑on, fast‑paced environments and comfortable debugging under demanding load conditions
- Design and validate compact, efficient motor‑control boards for high-performance motion systems
- Build reliable sensing and protection paths for precise current/voltage feedback and safe operation
- Optimize power stage architecture, high-frequency layout, and thermal performance
- Bring up prototypes, analyze performance, and iterate quickly
- Collaborate closely across firmware and hardware teams to integrate motion‑control electronics into the broader system
Full‑time, on‑site role in San Francisco, CA.
