MEMS Designer - Optical MEMS - Reliability - HVM - Bay Area - StartupLumicity is partnered with an ambitious, innovative startup that is creating novel technology to remove bottlenecks in AI processing.
They are looking to add a MEMS Design Engineer who will take responsibility for the design, simulation, and optimization of MEMS devices that are critical components of their optical circuit switches.
Compensation: $180k - $260k PLUS equity
Skills and Experience- Experienced designing sophisticated MEMS structures, focusing on performance, reliability and manufacturability.
- Proven experience with the full product lifecycle, from concept through to mass production.
- Experienced designing and fabricating devices with nano-scale features.
- Proficiency with 3D-CAD software.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and reliable designs for high-volume manufacturing.
- Any experience with optical MEMS structures would be highly advantageous.
