Electrical Engineer, Mid

Overview

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects.

• Lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
• Provide electrical engineering and design, including industrial power design, medium and low voltage distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, and equipment layout.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and related codes. Communicate with clients and contractors.
• AutoCAD experience is required;
  Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software are desirable.
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs.
• 7-11 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or related heavy industrial industry;
  Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering;
  Professional Engineering License.
