Architecture Project Manager - Data Centers (Hybrid)
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a dynamic Architectural Project Manager – Data Centers to join our Client Programs Market team in San Francisco, CA.
OverviewAs part of the Client Programs (CP) Market, you will guide projects through every stage of execution—driving innovation, delivering results, and making a lasting impact for our clients. You will oversee project teams, manage schedules and financial performance, cultivate client relationships, and uphold MG2’s standard of design excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring deliverables align with the contract, schedule and budget while meeting MG2 standards for quality.
- Ensure required contracts are in place prior to commencing execution of contract deliverables.
- Create and maintain accurate milestone‑based project schedules and staffing workplans.
- Develop detailed Project Charters and comprehensive QA/QC plans for all project work.
- Assist with project proposals and RFP responses as requested.
- Monitor project financial status and conduct intermediate financial reviews.
- Review monthly project invoicing and consultant billing.
- Produce weekly project updates, including documentation of contract deliverables, financial updates, contracts, and permitting reports.
- Lead or direct all internal and external project team meetings.
- Participate in all Quality Control procedures, reviewing externally distributed project deliverables.
- Oversee team activities during Construction Administration, reviewing RFI and Submittal logs and attending OAC meetings.
- Host internal and external project debrief meetings after construction activities, focusing on continuous improvement.
- Initiate project close‑out procedures after substantial completion, ensuring contractual alignment.
- Manage internal and external resources to maintain quality and profitability.
- Provide performance management and feedback to team members.
- Conduct monthly 1:1 check‑ins and annual performance reviews (People Managers only).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
- Demonstrated expertise with Data Centers.
- Professional licensing preferred.
- Experience leading teams through all phases of milestone‑based project delivery.
- Basic knowledge of architectural contracts and contract execution procedures.
- Proficiency with Revit, Auto‑CAD, and MS Office.
- Experience using collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Base pay: $80,000.00 – $ per year (salary commensurate with experience).
