While we work with students across the country, our immediate openings are:

Location:

• San Francisco County, Mosaic Project
  • San Francisco, CA 94102
  • San Francisco, CA 94103
  • San Francisco, CA 94112
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required

Schedule:

• Mondays from 5PM-6PM
• Tuesdays from 6PM-7PM
• Saturdays from 11AM-12:30PM

Hours:

• 3-5 hours per week, with the possibility of 10+ hours per week within 30 days by working additional virtual or in-person hours.

Pay:

• $22 per hour standard
• $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
• $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

In this role, you will:

• Tutor K12 students in ELA, Math and cognitive skills.
• Mentor K12 students for the Mosaic Project.
• Provide small group tutoring sessions to students using the provided curriculum and learning technology.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a conducive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 2 weeks of being hired
• You love learning, teaching, and empowering others to soar
