Pay Rate: $16.50/hr – $19.90/hr (Non‑Teaching) up to $27.66/hr total teaching rate depending on background and experience.

As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

Responsibilities- Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
- Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
- Assist with customer service as needed, building long‑term student relationships and creating a great experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trust, and valuing parental knowledge.
- Communicate progress to students and parents.
- Share students’ goals and progress regularly.
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
- Ability to teach the instrument(s) you are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
- Demonstrable competence and proficiency in the instrument you will teach.
