Prof Hire is currently seeking educators to teach online or in a classroom, Teach subjects such as:
Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, Elementary Education, Education Administration, Multi-Subject Credential, CLAD, and more.

We work with colleges and universities to find qualified scholars and industry professionals to teach part-time. You will go through a fairly extensive screening process, but once screened, you will be placed in a pool of highly qualified applicants. You only have to apply once and universities will come to you.

Courses generally run between 6 - 19 weeks depending on the college or university, how often the course meets, and how many units or credit hours are given for the course.

If you are teaching online, there is an expectation of the number of days per week that you will go into your online class. Most universities also require office hours that you can arrange. Online teaching is the most flexible. It will work around your schedule, but still requires work and engagement.

Classroom teaching involves meeting a set time and day for your class. It will also require some outside work to prepare your lesson and grade papers. If you have excellent facilitation skills, like being in front of a class, and can commit to specific days and times, this may be the teaching format you prefer.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an educator or 5 years as a proven scholar.
• A master's degree or higher in the area of study, from an accredited university. (For bachelor level courses and in rare exceptions, experience can be substituted for degree requirements)
• Strong facilitation skills online and/or in person.
• Strong written and oral communications skills.
