Locum Tenens Optometrist

Position Overview

We are seeking licensed Optometrists (OD) for locum tenens assignments across the United States. • Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses, glasses, and contact lenses
• Provide patient education on eye health and preventative care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with clinical staff and referring providers as needed

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Active U.S. optometry license (other state licenses may be considered with support for licensure)
• Board eligible or board certified (if applicable)
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new practice environments
