Overview
The Part-Time Dermatologist provides comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care, focusing on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Some travel may be required. Responsibilities- Perform evaluations, diagnose, and treat conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and autoimmune disorders.
- Conduct skin exams, perform procedures like biopsies and excisions, and prescribe medications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, educate patients on skin health, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
- Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications include a medical degree, residency in dermatology, board certification or eligibility, and licensure. Experience in outpatient dermatology and EMR use is preferred.
