Overview
The Pediatrician (MD) provides comprehensive outpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive, acute, and chronic health management in alignment with FQHC standards and regulations.
Responsibilities- Perform well-child exams, diagnose and treat pediatric conditions, and manage chronic illnesses.
- Provide preventive services such as immunizations, screenings, and anticipatory guidance.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate referrals, and support family-centered care.
- Supervise clinical staff and participate in quality improvement and compliance efforts.
MD/DO, board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics, active licensure, DEA registration, BLS/PALS, and relevant experience, preferably in underserved settings. Bilingual skills are a plus.
Compensation & BenefitsThe role offers a competitive salary ($220,000–$260,000), comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, and potential loan repayment assistance. The position may be full-time or part-time, primarily in a clinical setting, with physical and travel demands.
