The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco invites outstanding candidates to apply for a faculty position in Pediatric Radiology. The role is open at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Clinical X, In‑Residence, or HS Clinical series, depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic and interventional pediatric imaging services at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital campuses in San Francisco and Oakland.
- Engage actively in clinical service, teaching, and research.
- Supervise and mentor diagnostic radiology residents, pediatric radiology fellows, and medical students.
- Participate in quality improvement and scholarly activities aligned with departmental goals.
- Collaborate with world‑class pediatric specialists across radiology, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and related services.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Radiology with fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
- Ability to practice medicine in California (licensure or eligibility by the time of hire).
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic scholarship.
- Faculty appointment through the UCSF School of Medicine (rank and series commensurate with experience).
