Location:
77022 , San Francisco, CA, San Mateo, CA. This Full Time Family Medicine Physician will provide primary medical care to patients of all ages at a UCSF Primary Care practice. Primary responsibilities include full time patient care, panel management, documentation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, communication with staff, colleagues, patients, and families, and teaching. Clinical productivity standards are expected after a generous ramp up period.
Patient Care
- MSP physicians may work either seven (7) or eight (8) half‑day sessions per week at the assigned clinic upon request.
- Exceptions are discussed for extenuating circumstances.
- Participate in medical student teaching, practice teaching, and other learning activities that benefit patients, colleagues, and professional development.
- Faculty physicians are expected to offer a minimum of 50 hours of teaching to medical school learners concurrent with clinic duties.
- MSP/staff physicians are expected to offer a maximum of 50 hours of teaching concurrent with clinic duties.
The first year compensation is a combination of a Regular Pay and Non‑Base Pay salary of $279,000 plus a Clinical Incentive awarded as a guarantee at the 6‑month mark, bringing the total salary range for the first year to $309,700–$313,400 depending on successful board certification.

Required Qualifications- Completed accredited family medicine residency program.
- Board certified or eligible in Family Medicine.
- Valid California medical license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to document encounters accurately and timely.
- Interest and commitment to teaching and previous practice experience.
- Fluency in two or more languages.
- Proficiency in clinical practice, communication, case management, problem identification and resolution, leadership, and teaching.
- California Medical License.
- Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine.
