Physician Specialist PD

Laguna Honda is a warm and welcoming environment for residents and staff, with a diverse array of resident activities and supports in place. As part of the San Francisco Health Network, Laguna Honda collaborates extensively with public health entities within the Department of Public Health, including Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, SFHN primary care, SF Jail Health Services, Whole Person Integrated Care, and SF DPH Department of Behavioral Health.

• Perform essential duties of a physician specialist to LHH residents
• Collaborate with other disciplines in the care of patients at the health center
• Cover for fellow physicians as needed

• Current valid license issued by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association in the appropriate medical specialty area for the assigned facility or division (i.e., Board Eligible)

* Applicants possessing a valid license to practice medicine issued from another state within the United States of America may apply, but if selected, the candidate will NOT be appointed/hired until they obtain a valid license to practice medicine issued by the Medical Board of California or the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.

** Applicants enrolled in a residency program may apply, but if selected, the candidate will NOT be appointed/hired until they demonstrate successful completion of a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or American Osteopathic Association in the appropriate medical specialty area for the assigned facility.
