Haven is building the future of migraine care for the 40 million Americans who suffer from this debilitating neurological condition. Backed by Precursor Ventures and 1843 Capital, we're transforming how migraine is treated through an innovative combination of telemedicine, AI-enabled monitoring, and personalized care plans. Our initial patient cohort is seeing a 70% improvement rate with days impacted by headache reduced by half.

At Haven, we believe in meeting patients and clinicians where they are — creating product and service touchpoints that are clear, delightful, thoughtful, and integrate seamlessly into their routines.

Your primary focus will be designing and evolving our care delivery platform as we scale, working cross-functionally to dive into complex problems and translate patient and provider needs into elegant design solutions. As an early employee, you ll also help shape our design culture and product and service strategy, setting a high quality bar across all Haven experiences.

• Execute, collaborate and refine the end-to-end experience and work across a spectrum of projects to design experiences of our service journey.
• Work closely with clinicians, operations, and patients to deeply understand the people who touch our service, and rally the Haven team around the needs we are solving for.
• Explore, iterate, test and deliver new product solutions and detailed UX and UI designs to continuously evolve and improve our care delivery platform.
• Contribute to our team processes and culture, delivering a positive tone within the Design team and across the company.

• 4+ years of Product/UX/Service Designer experience delivering and collaborating cross-functionally at every stage of the product development process.
• Portfolio that showcases your ability to dig into complex workflows, understand user needs and requirements, and distill them into delightfully simple design solutions.
• Eye for detail, consistently demonstrating a high degree of craft in UI design.
• Strong product sense, partnering with the design and engineering teams to balance quality and speed.
• Comfort with early-stage startup ambiguity, collaboration, and willingness to go beyond the boundaries of your role to achieve goals.

You’re likely a strong fit if you are highly collaborative, motivated by solving meaningful problems, get things done, are a good communicator and have empathy for yourself, our patients and all of your co-workers across the org. A background in healthcare or a regulated industry is helpful but not required.

We are based in downtown San Francisco and value in-person collaboration. Team members are required to be in the office 2-3 days each week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Compensation Range: $150K - $170K
