As a senior healthcare planner at DGA, you will:

  • Oversee and provide medical planning expertise to other team members and the firm-wide healthcare practice.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ program requirements and standards and policies to drive the overall design process.
  • Assist in the development of the scope document outlining work effort and schedule during proposal development and contract discussions.
  • Lead periodical project meetings and presentations; ensure client is adequately briefed on project progress.
  • Be responsible for medical planning concepts and solutions in conjunction with the lead designer.
  • Assist with the establishing of overall project milestone schedules in coordination with project managers, architects and clients.
  • Balance integration of medical planning between client requirements and user needs.
  • Work to ensure project inter-disciplinary and quality control coordination.
  • Oversees the development of medical planning throughout the process to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction.

You’ll bring to DGA:

  • A proven track record (10+ years) in healthcare planning and design
  • Relevant degree (Architecture, Interior Design, or related) and OSHPD/HCAI experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare design, strategic planning, and master planning
  • Experience in maintaining strong working relationships with clients and building new client relationships
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent written, verbal and graphic skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office. Experience in Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, dRofus a plus
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing with confidence and professionalism

At the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position is between $110,000 to $160,000 commensurate with qualifications
