In this role, you’ll help define and build the foundational patterns and experience that enables multiple health programs to work seamlessly together across the member lifecycle. As a Product designer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered solutions from concept to execution, including user research, interaction/UI design, and prototypes that evolve our member experience forward, while driving towards our key business goals.

What You'll Accomplish
  • Create a seamless and intuitive experience for members to work on multiple conditions in parallel, make intuitive adjustments to their programs, and have clear visibility into the progress.

  • Map complex workflows:
    Simplify and orchestrate interconnected onboarding, program management, and care experiences, ensuring customers feel confident and supported along the way.

  • Design a smooth migration experience to help members transition from legacy products to new platforms with thoughtful touchpoints and clear communications.

  • Work with other teams to understand and support the discoverability and integration of new programs into the existing platform, and ensure consistency and simplicity.

  • Design at scale:
    Use and contribute to our design system to build scalable components and patterns that support consistency and efficiency.

  • Champion quality and accessibility:
    Ensure that every onboarding touchpoint is accessible, inclusive, and thoughtfully crafted for diverse user needs.

Basic Qualifications
  • A polished and updated portfolio showing shipped or in-progress product work, with foundational skills in interaction design and visual design.

  • 3+ years of product design experience, including partnering with product and engineering teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction, Industrial, Product, Service design, Human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience contributing to end-to-end product design on native mobile platforms—from understanding the opportunity to supporting concept development and shipment; tablet familiarity is a plus.

  • Hands‑on experience with prototyping, basic user research, and design documentation, with guidance from more senior designers.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional teammates such as product managers and engineers.

  • Ability to learn new programs quickly and understand their nuances, with an emerging ability to think systematically about how different experiences connect and diverge.

  • Experience creating and documenting user flows, journeys, and/or simple service maps to support design decisions.

  • Iterative mindset: Ability to incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into designs and clearly explain design decisions.

  • Growing comfort with metrics: Experience using qualitative or quantitative signals to understand outcomes and improve designs.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience participating in and helping facilitate workshops with cross-functional or cross-pillar teams to gather requirements, align on direction, or brainstorm concepts and ideas, with support from more senior partners.
