Freelance Interior Designer (San Francisco Bay Area)

We are seeking a talented freelance interior designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area to support a high‑end residential design studio. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented designer who is technically strong, creatively driven, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.

The position requires a mix of design production, on‑site support, sourcing, and light personal assistant tasks, with availability to work in person as needed.

• Create CAD drawings (floor plans, elevations, details as required)
• Produce 3D renderings and visual presentations
• Assist with local sourcing, showroom visits, and vendor coordination
• Attend in‑person site visits, installations, and meetings as needed
• Support the design process from concept through execution
• Provide light personal‑assistant support (errands, scheduling assistance, project‑related logistics)
• Help keep projects organized, on track, and running smoothly

• Degree or formal training in Interior Design or related field
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD preferred)
• Experience creating high‑quality renderings (Sketch Up, V‑Ray, Enscape, or similar)
• Familiarity with Bay Area vendors, showrooms, and sourcing resources is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, polished, and comfortable working with high‑end clients
• Reliable transportation and ability to work in person when needed
• Self‑starter with a flexible schedule and positive attitude
