- Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
- Provide project team coordination and/or supervision for finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction.
- Develop and coordinate drawings and specifications including program compliance, code and agency compliance, schedule commitments, and product research.
- Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
- Provide input to the design and construction schedule.
- Communicate the technical implications of design decisions.
- Handle project-level verbal and written client communication.
- Serve as the primary client liaison to bring schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Actively manage project budget, scope, and schedule; project communications and documentation; and project team assignments.
- Develop proposal and contracts; estimate fees; determine scope of works.
- At least 5–7 years of experience at an architectural firm or design/build practice specific to architectural/mechanical/process/electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, semiconductor, or pharmaceutical projects (equivalent experience is also acceptable).
- AIA or NCAARB highly desirable.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, MPM, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Construction Management, Architectural, or Engineering degree preferred but not required.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Field experience is a plus.
- AutoCAD and/or REVIT proficiency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar 3D modeling/rendering software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
- Detail‑oriented and organized.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to ever‑changing project needs and priorities.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to communicate well with colleagues, consultants, and clients.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proactive and self‑motivated.
- A sense of humor and a team player.
