We are a well-established, team-oriented multi-specialty dental office providing high-quality care in periodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and general dentistry. Our practice combines advanced technology with a warm, patient-centered environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our team.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable assisting across multiple specialties. You will work closely with our periodontist, orthodontist, oral surgeon and general dentists to help deliver exceptional clinical care and a great patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for periodontal surgeries, scaling procedures, implant placements, orthodontic adjustments, oral surgery set up and proedures and general dentistry treatments
- Preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and operatories
- Taking high-quality digital X-rays, impressions, photos, and/or intraoral scans
- Assisting with charting, treatment notes, and maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
- Ensuring smooth patient flow and supporting the clinical team as needed
- Maintaining compliance with OSHA and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of CA.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in periodontics, orthodontics and/or oral surgery preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn
