Registered Dental Assistant

Overview

Our newly UCSF Dentistry clinic is a high-volume, multi-specialty dental clinic located in the city of San Mateo. This flagship practice is designed with a strong emphasis on technology, integrated care, and an exceptional patient experience.

• Under the supervision of the clinic supervisor, the Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist provider in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients. The incumbent prepares operatory for patient treatment, exposes and develops dental radiographs and performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by the provider. Additionally, the RDA maintains dental equipment and work areas in compliance with UCSF policies and procedures relative to infection control and safety issues;
  
  maintains adequate operatory supplies and assists with various clinical and administrative functions as appropriate.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification  positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $31.53 - $39.63 (Hourly Rate).
