Emily Jenks Photography and Sunrise and Sunset Studios is a photography company dedicated to creating a fun, easy, and beautiful experience for clients who wish to document special times in their lives. Our studio is located in the Inner Sunset, and focus on maternity, newborns, family, and boudoir. We also offer elopement services, weddings, outdoor family and engagement photos.
Role DescriptionThis is a full time hybrid on-site/remote role, 30-40 hour a week employee position (hours depending on the season and schedule but most weeks 40 weeks) for a Studio Photographer and Customer Relations Manager. Thorough training will be provided, so no specific experience or gears are required. We are looking for professional and motivated candidates who are passionate about client services and photography with strong attention to detail.
There may be some weekend work, however, the hourly rate will be at an increased rate and it will be based on your availability. Health benefits and 401k after a 90 day probationary period are offered.
The hourly rate $25-30 DOE.
Job
Duties Include:
- Conduct photography sessions (mainly boudoir, newborn, maternity, family) at our studio located in the Inner Sunset, SF
- Prepping for and maintaining the studio in good clean shape
Below tasks will be for both the studio and the main photography business outside of the studio.
Client Coordination for both the studio and Emily Jenks Photography (50%)- Reply to inquiries within 24 business hours and follow up as needed
- Sending out proposals and questionnaires to new clients
- Assisting with client communication prior to event
- Sending prep emails
- Obtain permits as needed and liaise between permit office and clients
- Assuring specific vendors (associate photographer, officiant, florist, etc) for each event is managed properly
- Managing master project, pricing, vendor, editing schedule list on Google Sheets
- Send final gallery when uploaded (after QC completed)
- Managing updates (pricing, package offerings, layout, images, etc.) on website as needed
- Keep documents in Honeybook library up to date including template revisions
- Create and update marketing materials on Canva as needed
- Strong Client Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of Marketing and Business Development strategies a plus, but not necessary
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to commute to Inner Sunset, San Francisco few days-5 days a week
- Photography skills and equipment not necessary (will train)
This is a full time hourly position with the pay of $25-30 per hour.
