  • Serve as an on-camera host for social-first videos, including green screen explainers, walk-and-talk videos, and topical breakdowns.
  • Edit short-form videos quickly and creatively, incorporating captions, sound, pacing, transitions, and visual elements native to Tik Tok and Instagram.
  • Film and edit yourself in a variety of settings using smartphone equipment, lighting, and green screen.
  • Pitch and develop social-first vertical video content on topics focused on the nine Bay Area counties, including:
    • Bay Area culture explainers

  • Stay current on Tik Tok and Instagram trends, audio, and memes to inform content ideation.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and program teams to ensure content and scripts are fact-checked, brand-aligned, and timely.
  • Use analytics and social performance data to inform content strategy and optimize videos for engagement and reach.
  • Create content that meets accessibility standards, including captions and clear audio.
  • Other duties as assigned.
