Job Summary

Smith Rx is seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Mid‑Level Brand Designer to join our marketing team. This role is primarily focused on the design and production of high‑fidelity brand assets that define our presence in the enterprise market. You will be the primary engine for creating polished presentation decks, engaging social graphics, and sales collateral that communicate our “Modern PBM Standard.”

You will translate complex concepts—like our Drug Pathways Engine—into visually stunning and digestible assets. Your work will ensure that every touchpoint, from a presentation deck to a Linked In post to a multi‑page lookbook, reflects the premium quality and radical transparency of the Smith Rx brand.

This role can be based in our Lehi, Utah or San Francisco, CA office, or can be fully remote. You will report directly to the Director of Brand and work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams.

What you will do
  • Presentation & Sales Design
    • Design and iterate on high‑stakes enterprise sales decks, lookbooks, and RFP responses that clearly communicate our value proposition.
    • Create custom diagrams and infographics that simplify technical pharmacy benefit models.
    • Ensure all presentation materials are optimized for both digital viewing and high‑quality print production.
  • Brand Assets & Social Media
    • Own the creation of all social media graphics (Linked In, Twitter, etc.) that align with our brand voice and marketing campaigns.
    • Develop a library of reusable brand assets, icons, and templates to empower the broader team while maintaining visual consistency.
    • Design collateral for industry events, including digital invitations, booth graphics, and high‑quality swag.
  • Brand Stewardship
    • Act as a guardian of the Smith Rx visual identity, ensuring consistent use of typography, color, and imagery across all platforms.
    • Collaborate with marketing leads to bring campaign concepts to life through creative visual storytelling.
What you will bring to Smith Rx
  • Experience:

    5+ years of experience in brand design, with a heavy focus on presentation design and digital marketing assets.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates excellence in layout design, typography, and the ability to turn complex data into beautiful visuals.
  • Software Mastery:
    Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma. Experience with Google Slides or PowerPoint for high‑end deck production is essential.
  • Creative Spark:
    You can take a simple “one‑pager” concept and morph it into a polished, multi‑page brand experience.
  • Precision: A “radically transparent” eye for detail—you catch the alignment issues and typos that others miss.
  • Communication:
    Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, from clinical experts to sales executives, to translate their needs into creative solutions.
