Overview
KPIX is looking for a highly talented part time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non-linear editing equipment.
Responsibilities- Work in a fast-paced television news environment with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously and be a creative, poised team player.
- Candidate must be flexible with work schedule and willing to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.
- Links to a demo reel demonstrating abilities are required.
- ENG will also be part of regular duties.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a fast-paced television news environment.
- Experience with non-linear editing;
Grass Valley Edius editing system is preferred. - Detail-oriented and deadline-driven with minimal supervision.
