Overview

Our Company

Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe's all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. We’re passionate about empowering people to create beautiful and powerful images, videos, and apps, and transform how companies interact with customers across every screen.

We’re on a mission to hire the very best and are committed to creating exceptional employee experiences where everyone is respected and has access to equal opportunity. We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!

The Opportunity

We are building a new global content team to create premium in-app templates, motion presets, effect presets, transition presets, animated titles, and other assets for Adobe Premiere mobile. The Template and Motion Designer will be a hands-on creative responsible for delivering new on-trend templates, animations, text styles, and presets customers can apply and customize for use in their own projects.

This role sits at the intersection of creative excellence and production reality. You will design and build templates, establish reusable motion systems, and set the quality bar for work produced by Adobe. Your work will be augmented by a team of freelancers, agencies, and community creators.

What You’ll Do:

Create Video Project Templates & Motion Design Systems
  • Design and build high-quality project templates with flexible drop zones for video, images, text, and audio. This includes customizable presets for transitions, animated titles, captions, overlays, and effects.
  • Partner closely with the Creative Director to translate visual direction into executable motion systems and production-ready assets.
  • Help define what "great" looks like in template usability, flexibility, and creative polish. Set guidelines for motion design, hierarchy, timing, and animation curves across all content types.
  • Work with the Producer to scope, estimate, and plan animation work for monthly content drops.
  • Contribute to briefs, references, and production guidelines used by external designers and animators.
  • Ensure all templates meet product requirements, technical specs, and publishing standards.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering partners to push template capabilities and explore new features.
What You Need to Succeed
  • 5+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or template-based content creation.
  • Deep expertise in Adobe tools, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related workflows.
  • Proven experience building reusable templates, presets, or motion systems for creators or products.
  • A portfolio showing strong design instincts across typography, layout, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
  • Comfort working hands-on while influencing a broader ecosystem of contributors.
  • Experience creating compelling video and/or templates with an authentic taste and an aesthetic that compels others.
