Our client, a reputable legal organization in San Francisco, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Communications Assistant to provide short-term, part-time support to the communications team for 5–15 hours per week. This role will play an important part in supporting ongoing communications initiatives, with a particular focus on projects related to the annual commencement ceremony. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working across both digital and print platforms in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid, part-time, 1-month role based in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $28/hr.
- Support the maintenance and updating of website content using content management systems such as Word Press, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with brand standards
- Assist with the design, layout, and production of print and digital materials, including the commencement program, using InDesign or comparable design software
- Conduct careful editorial review and proofreading of communications materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in messaging and formatting
- Convert, organize, and format data from spreadsheets and source documents for use in design and layout applications
- Collaborate with communications and alumni engagement team members to meet project deadlines and support event-related communications needs
- Experience updating or managing website content, particularly within Word Press or similar platforms
- Proficiency in InDesign or other print and digital layout tools
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated experience in proofreading, editing, or editorial review
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow established guidelines, and meet short-term deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
