Art Director

One of The Sage Group’s top clients is searching for an Art Director with 8+ years in B2C tech. The client is a leading technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products that include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.

• Strong visual and digital design and requires a talented design sensibility, a devotion to craft and a dedication to creative excellence which goes in line with overall business objectives.
• Deliver a design vision across mediums (print and digital) based on research, strategy, technology, and brand. Ability to effectively communicate a point of view during creative concepting with a technical end to end understanding of both digital and print content (i.e. webpages, digital banners, in store fixtures, store window attracts).
• Integrate client creative into adapt and invent use cases in line with external partner specifications and client’s core brand standards.
• Provide creative leadership and guide agency creatives. Your team will be responsible for visual design talent and advocating for creative excellence and aligning to our brand attributes (Simple, Confident and Delightful).
• Understand, track, and manage a series of structured tasks, activities, and deliverables in order for the work to be executed.
• Review and provide actionable feedback on external partner-developed creative based on client brand requirements, collaborating across teams ensuring client’s creative brand standards are upheld.
• This role is cross‑functional and requires partnership with various orgs for consultations, alignment, and best practices working with teams like UX, Production, Partner Marketing and external partners.

• A rich understanding of Figma and Adobe CS is a must
• 8+ years leading digital and instore design in B2C tech
• Google Workspace
• After Effects/motion design is a plus

100% remote, but must live in the Bay Area CA to meet the team 5-6 times a year
