The purpose of this position is to be responsible for designing and creating innovative, commercially viable products that deliver value and style, as well as support and deepen the brand value and identity through the development, evolution, and communication of looks.

Duties

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• 8+ years experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design and development.
• Expertise in textiles and product development; strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fabric construction, finishing techniques, and processes.
• Proficiency in all design platforms, including Adobe CC and PLM programs.
• MS Office skills:
  Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last-minute changes without frustration.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, especially when working with senior-level directors.
• Discretion, judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Energetic, positive, helpful demeanor with a passion for design.
