Commercial Construction Superintendent — Tenant Improvement

Location:

San Francisco, CA

Compensation:
Competitive base salary + bonus + full benefits

Some superintendents keep projects moving. The great ones set the tone — the pace, the quality, the professionalism — from the moment they step on site.

That’s who we’re looking for.

This role is with a well?established Commercial General Contractor known for delivering high?end Tenant Improvement projects across Class A office, tech spaces, life?science conversions, and corporate interiors. The work is fast, the expectations are high, and the visibility is real.

What You’ll Lead
  • Full on?site management of commercial TI projects from mobilization through closeout
  • Daily coordination of subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, organized jobsite in active/occupied buildings
  • Short?interval scheduling, look?ahead planning, and daily reporting
  • Real?time problem solving around sequencing, unforeseen conditions, and design changes
  • Building strong relationships with property managers, building engineers, and client reps
  • Ensuring work is completed to spec, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to tenants
What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • 7–15+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interiors or TI construction
  • Deep understanding of interior systems: framing, finishes, MEP coordination, life?safety
  • Proven success running fast?paced TI projects in downtown/urban environments
  • Strong leadership presence — able to set expectations and keep teams aligned
  • Clear, consistent communication with PMs, subcontractors, and clients
  • Proficiency with field technology (Procore, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, etc.)
  • Ability to navigate tight timelines, occupied spaces, and shifting priorities with calm control
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Steady pipeline of negotiated TI work with repeat clients
  • Projects that move quickly and showcase your field leadership
  • A GC that trusts its supers — no micromanaging, no chaos
  • Strong compensation package with competitive base, bonus, and benefits
  • A culture built on professionalism, accountability, and doing things the right way
  • Base salary up to $200K
  • Tolls/Bridges paid!
  • Competitive bonus structure
  • MDV Insurance
  • Generous PTO
  • Much more!
