Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area for a Senior Estimator in Commercial Construction. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for managing and preparing detailed estimates and budgets, performing quantity take-offs, maintaining cost data, and collaborating with project teams. The role involves regular communication with stakeholders and contributing to project planning and cost-effective solutions. The Senior Estimator will ensure that all estimating processes align with project goals, timelines, and client expectations.
Qualifications- 7-10 years of experience as an estimator, cost manager, working in the commercial vertical required
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs to accurately determine project requirements and costs
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting to effectively manage resources and meet financial goals
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
- Experience with construction software and proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
