Description
A very sweet, loving family in SF is seeking an educational, engaging Family Assistant for their 2-year-old girl and baby due in the Spring! Responsibilities include planning fun, stimulating outings and activities, family laundry, light tidying, and preparing kid-friendly snacks and meals as well as simple family-friendly dinners. Most importantly they are looking for someone who will be focused on introducing their children to new experiences, museums and classes, and help them explore the world around them.
Although this is a family assistant role, the position is more focused on childcare and their ideal candidate will prioritize their children's development and follow their lead and interests.
Schedule: The family can offer 4-5 days per week such as:
- Monday to Friday
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday to Friday
They can offer 6-8 hour each day and are still thinking through what works best but are open to discussing the candidate's preference.
Experience Requirements- 2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Fluency in English
- ECE background preferred
- COVID vaccinated (booster not required)
- TB and Tdap
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record and reliable vehicle for driving the child to activities (family will reimburse for mileage)
- Background in Early Childhood Education
- Focused on development and making sure child's needs are being met
- Takes initiative for planning activities
