DescriptionA family in Cow Hollow is seeking a warm, loving Weekend Nanny to partner with them on childcare. Their boys are 4, 5 and 7 years old and are busy with sports, birthday parties, and activities. This person will be responsible for dividing and conquering childcare; typically caring for one or two kids at a time (very rarely all three unless babysitting in the evening).
Duties include driving to/from activities, engaging in play, planning crafts and fun activities, preparing simple kid-friendly meals and snacks, and light tidying.
The best person for them is a good communicator, comfortable tag-teaming with parents, and genuinely loves working with kids. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for longevity as they would love to find someone to work with their family for the next few years.
Experience Requirements- 2 years experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
- COVID-vaccinated + boosted (ideally up to date on booster)
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (family provides household vehicle for work-related driving)
- Warm, loving personality
- Excellent communication
- Team player with parents
- Ability to make a long-term commitment (ideally a few years)
- Act as an extra set of hands; partner with parents to divide and conquer childcare (nanny will rarely be watching all 3 children, usually just 1-2 at a time)
- Getting the kids to birthday parties, sports, activities, play dates, etc.
- Planning outings and arts and crafts
- Engaging in play
- Light tidying and organizing — helping kids clean up their rooms, play room, etc. at end of the day
- Simple cooking for the kids (meals/snacks)
- Child laundry on occasion as needed
