Overview
A leading private equity real estate firm focused on value-add investments across the United States is looking for an IR Associate to join the team in San Francisco.
This role is a hybrid of investor relations and fundraising, offering exposure to capital formation, relationship management, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Investor Relations & Fundraising Support
- Assist in managing relationships with existing and prospective investors across wealth managers, RIAs, and family offices.
- Conduct prospecting and cold outreach to expand the investor network.
- Project Management
- Coordinate fundraising timelines, investor onboarding, and deliverables.
- Organize investor meetings, webinars, and events.
- Due Diligence & Documentation
- Prepare and maintain DDQs, RFPs, and other investor materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to investor inquiries.
- Database Management & Reporting
- Maintain CRM systems and investor databases.
- Generate reports on investor activity, pipeline, and fundraising progress.
- Marketing Support
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and investor communications.
- Collaborate on newsletters and thought leadership content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with investment, finance, and operations teams to deliver a seamless investor experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
- 2-6 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or client service (real estate or private markets preferred).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; experience with email marketing tools a plus.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
