Overview

A leading private equity real estate firm focused on value-add investments across the United States is looking for an IR Associate to join the team in San Francisco.

This role is a hybrid of investor relations and fundraising, offering exposure to capital formation, relationship management, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investor Relations & Fundraising Support
    • Assist in managing relationships with existing and prospective investors across wealth managers, RIAs, and family offices.
    • Conduct prospecting and cold outreach to expand the investor network.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate fundraising timelines, investor onboarding, and deliverables.
    • Organize investor meetings, webinars, and events.
  • Due Diligence & Documentation
    • Prepare and maintain DDQs, RFPs, and other investor materials.
    • Ensure timely and accurate responses to investor inquiries.
  • Database Management & Reporting
    • Maintain CRM systems and investor databases.
    • Generate reports on investor activity, pipeline, and fundraising progress.
  • Marketing Support
    • Assist with email marketing campaigns and investor communications.
    • Collaborate on newsletters and thought leadership content.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with investment, finance, and operations teams to deliver a seamless investor experience.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
  • 2-6 years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, or client service (real estate or private markets preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office; experience with email marketing tools a plus.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
